About The Position

Quintech Electronics & Communications, Inc. is seeking a Bookkeeper whose primary duties will include the activities of general accounting, financial reporting of the company, and working within a team for collections and payables. Headquartered in Indiana, PA, with an office in Pittsburgh, PA we are a growing telecommunication equipment designer and manufacturer of RF signal management solutions with international customers! Requirements

Bachelor's degree in business/accounting or related field and/or a minimum of one year of work related experience.
Must have strong written and verbal communication skills along with ability to read, interpret and carry out both written and oral instructions.
Work requires attention to detail with strong organization and time management skills
Must have knowledge of typical business operations and working use of a variety of office equipment and software applications such as word processing, spreadsheets, and database software (MSWord, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
Must have ability to understand departmental operations and procedures along with a demonstrated ability to report to work as scheduled and on time.

Nice To Haves

Prior accounting experience in a manufacturing environment is an asset

Responsibilities

Preparation of monthly financial reports, including bank reconciliations, account reconciliations and other related statements that reflect the company's financial condition according to corporate policies and procedures.
Prepare monthly income statement, balance sheets, and statement of cash flows for the company
Posting of related journal entries, including month-end closing entries, and preparation of related supporting documentation.
Filing of monthly or quarterly sales tax returns
Liaising with tax advisors to ensure local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings are completed.
Perform other related duties as assigned as well as adhere to company policies and procedures.
