About The Position
Fulton Montgomery Medical, P.C. is actively seeking a Board Certified / Board Eligible Bone & Joint Orthopedic Surgeon with expertise in Adult Reconstruction and Total Joint Replacement to join our growing regional orthopedic practice. This is an exciting opportunity to build a thriving practice focused on hip, knee, and shoulder conditions while working alongside a collaborative team of fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeons, advanced practice providers, rehabilitation professionals, and dedicated support staff. As part of our expanding orthopedic service line, you'll provide comprehensive musculoskeletal care utilizing advanced surgical techniques and evidence-based treatment approaches. This role offers state-of-the-art technology, a robust referral network, and the support needed to develop a successful, patient-centered practice.
Requirements
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
- Must obtain New York State medical license prior to start date
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) with completion of an accredited orthopedic residency program
- Strong surgical expertise, clinical judgment, and patient-centered communication skills
Nice To Haves
- Fellowship training in Adult Reconstruction, Joint Replacement, or related orthopedic subspecialty
Responsibilities
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with degenerative joint disease, arthritis, fractures, and other musculoskeletal conditions
- Perform orthopedic procedures including total hip, knee, and shoulder replacements, as well as revision and reconstructive procedures as appropriate
- Develop individualized treatment plans utilizing both surgical and non-surgical approaches
- Collaborate with primary care providers, rehabilitation specialists, pain management providers, and other specialists to optimize patient outcomes
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment options, surgical procedures, recovery expectations, and preventative orthopedic care
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical program development
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with organizational and regulatory standards
