About The Position

HireNow Staffing is actively recruiting a seasoned, highly skilled Orthopedic Sports Performance & Joint Restoration Surgeon to join one of our valued client partners. This full-time, hospital-employed opportunity is designed for a board-certified or board-eligible Orthopedic Surgeon with fellowship training or demonstrated expertise in Sports Medicine. The successful candidate will play a key role in expanding an established orthopedic program while providing exceptional surgical and clinical care for patients with sports-related injuries and complex musculoskeletal conditions. Requirements

  • MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery.
  • Eligible for unrestricted Ohio medical licensure.
  • DEA registration or eligibility.
  • Excellent surgical, diagnostic, and clinical decision-making skills.
  • Outstanding communication and patient relationship abilities.
  • Authorized to work in the United States.
  • U.S.-based applicants only.
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible Orthopedic Surgeon.
  • Strong expertise in sports medicine orthopedic procedures.
  • Demonstrates exceptional arthroscopic surgical skills.
  • Provides patient-centered orthopedic care with excellent clinical outcomes.
  • Collaborates effectively within multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
  • Maintains excellent communication and documentation practices.
  • Meets all required qualifications while demonstrating several preferred qualifications.

  • No demonstrated sports medicine surgical experience.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and surgically treat patients with sports-related orthopedic injuries and musculoskeletal disorders.
  • Perform advanced orthopedic procedures including shoulder and knee arthroscopy, ligament reconstruction, meniscus repair, cartilage restoration, and related sports medicine procedures.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans utilizing both operative and non-operative approaches.
  • Maintain an active outpatient clinic while managing a surgical case schedule.
  • Collaborate with primary care physicians, rehabilitation specialists, athletic trainers, and multidisciplinary care teams.
  • Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment options, recovery expectations, and injury prevention.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives that enhance patient outcomes and clinical excellence.
  • Maintain complete and timely medical documentation within the Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
  • Participate in shared call coverage as assigned.
  • Support continued growth of orthopedic and sports medicine service lines.
