About The Position

As a Bondroom Technician, you will ensure document accountability for jet engine parts, components, controls, sub-assemblies, support equipment tooling, and complete engines to meet audit and inventory requirements. Technicians perform periodic inspections on shop equipment, monitor and control calibration of tooling/equipment, consumable material usage, hazardous waste disposal, and shop towel program. This is a 1st shift position, as training will be required for the 1st shift within 1 year of hire. Then, there is the possibility of moving to 2nd shift, which would include a shift differential in pay.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Three or more (3+) months of work experience in a warehouse or manufacturing facility
  • Strong communication and organizational skills required.
  • Flexibility to occasionally work alternate shifts, work overtime, weekends, and/or occasional holidays when required.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects as required.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance required. Must be able to obtain required security clearances within 12 months and maintain clearance.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office
  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent experience.
  • Strong computer skills required; Microsoft Office and SAP a plus

Nice To Haves

  • 1+ year of experience in production/tool control, warehouse inventory management, or the tear-down, build-up or inspection of jet engines.
  • Previous experience in Aerospace/ Military Aircraft

Responsibilities

  • Complete and maintain required paperwork in accordance with established procedures, including but not limited to work orders, tools, equipment, deviation reports, sign-offs, and logs.
  • Participate in and comply with requirements of ACE/CI programs, training, and activities to achieve company goals.
  • Perform routine maintenance of equipment.
  • Obtain and maintain licenses, operator permits, or certifications as required.
  • Prepare tools and equipment for shipping.
  • Handle and process hazardous material and its related wastes safely, and in accordance with approved documented work instructions.
  • Perform additional tasks in support of business objectives.
