About The Position
The primary role of a Bolter is to inspect existing underground headings, scale loose rocks and install ground support to stabilize rock mass and ensure safety. The tasks may involve the operation of scaling bars, pneumatic hand-held drills, use of rubber-tired underground mobile equipment such as LHD (Load-Haul-Dump) units, scissor trucks, scoop or other support vehicles in a confined environment. This job would be primarily bolting from X-Lift.
Requirements
- Proficient in Hand held drilling -Jackleg and Stoper
- Installing 8' , 6' rebar, 6' split Sets, 6' , 8' Paddle bolts, 10' and 15' spin cables
- Installing pipe/vent
- Operate scoop/drill with Jumbo if qualified
- Drug test
