About The Position
The BOLT (Building Opportunities & Learning Together) Intern Program is Kinder Morgan’s elite summer internship program. Requirements
- Working towards Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Petroleum, or Chemical Engineering
- Minimum GPA: 3.0
- Demonstrated experience leading teams of people, either during school, work, or personal life - candidate must describe in detail during the interview
- Self-motivated and driven, with demonstrated interpersonal skills
- Ability to speak publicly in front of groups
- Ability to function effectively in both a team and individual environment
- Attention to detail and strong computer skills are essential
- Driven to discover and determined to deliver
- Open to travel in the United States
- Houston Headquarters Work Location
- The successful candidate will be required to clear a drug screen and a complete background check, after an offer has been extended and prior to being employed.

Responsibilities
- Codes and Standards support for Federal and State regulatory compliance for design, construction, operations, and maintenance related activities and processes
- Project Management of pipeline integrity and remediation including completing project scoping plans, completing cost estimates, financial forecasting, and ultimately on-site field experience for ongoing construction activities
- Field Integrity Services supporting pipeline integrity assessment and remediation projects including completing project scoping plans, completing cost estimates, financial forecasting, and gaining hands-on field experience assisting with project execution activities
