About The Position

CSI Services, a complete industrial solutions provider for boiler and HVAC equipment, maintenance, service, and installation, and a subsidiary of Burnham Holdings, Inc., is seeking a Boiler Service Technician to join their team in York, PA. This full-time position involves installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC related systems and equipment. The role requires extensive knowledge of boilers, burners, and HVAC systems, along with the ability to use various tools and testing devices. The technician will also be responsible for customer instruction, troubleshooting, parts inventory, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. The position offers a standard Monday-Friday work schedule.

Requirements

  • Must pass child abuse clearance as well as FBI check
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Extensive knowledge of boilers, burners and HVAC systems and equipment.
  • Ability to use power and hand tools.
  • Ability to use thermometers, pressure gauges, and other testing devices to evaluate boilers, burners and HVAC system.
  • Ability to read operation and repair manuals for boilers, burners and HVAC systems.
  • Ability to follow instructions.
  • Excellent mechanical skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, as required to interact with customer.
  • Maintain a satisfactory driving record
  • Successfully complete all required pre-employment screenings, including a criminal background check, child abuse clearance, and an FBI background check, in accordance with company policies and applicable regulations

Nice To Haves

  • Five years of related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Installs new boiler and/or HVAC units in commercial, or industrial buildings.
  • Installs ductwork and thermostats to control HVAC system.
  • Performs routine maintenance on boilers, burners and HVAC systems to ensure proper operation.
  • Instructs customers in the use of equipment.
  • Inspects and troubleshoots problems with existing boilers, burners and HVAC units.
  • Installs replacement parts on existing boilers, burners and HVAC units.
  • Maintains inventory of replacement parts and orders replacements.
  • Complies with company, customer and industry safety standards.
  • Completes work orders in a timely manner; including appropriate paperwork
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
