Requirements

Must be able to complete minimum requirements for forklift operator training.
Willingness to work any shift, including weekends, holidays, or overtime as needed.
Strong commitment to safety and excellent attendance.
Good communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
Ability to learn, adapt to change, and work in a noisy industrial environment.
Ability to follow all safety policies and wear required PPE.
High School Diploma or GED.

Nice To Haves

Experience operating mobile equipment such as a front-end loader, skid steer, or forklift in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
Basic computer skills.
Experience in the lumber, wood products, or manufacturing industry.
Experience troubleshooting equipment.

Responsibilities

Maintain lumber pack storage runs and rotate inventory from newest to oldest.
Continuously load and unload kilns.
Feed the Planer Mill with the required lumber.
Safely operate forklifts and other mobile equipment.
Remove debris throughout the mill to support a safe work environment.
Work collaboratively with team members across the facility.
Follow all safety requirements, including PPE usage and adherence to lockout procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Boiler Superintendent/Supervisor.
