About The Position

Assists in the performance of duties necessary to operate and maintain boilers and auxiliary equipment for producing steam. Monitors status of all utility systems intervening when necessary to minimize disruption of any service.

Requirements

1-5 years General mechanical experience (electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC).
High school diploma or G.E.D.
New Jersey Black Seal Boiler Operator’s License
Ability to work with an active team.
Computer knowledge (windows based).
Electrical knowledge.
Safety knowledge of a hospital environment.
Broad-based knowledge of power plant and utilities.
General mechanical maintenance/repair knowledge.
Grasp and have knowledge of general mechanical and electrical principles.
Ability to think independently with little or no supervision.
