About The Position

This position is responsible for performing vehicle repair as assigned in accordance with dealer and factory standards. The technician will communicate with the Manager to obtain needed parts, examine vehicles for additional safety or service work, and advise the Body Shop Manager if more work is required. The role also involves documenting all work performed upon completion and adhering to federal, state, and local regulations, particularly concerning the disposal of hazardous wastes. Additionally, the technician is expected to ensure customer cars are kept clean and perform any other assigned duties.

Requirements

  • At least two years automotive experience.
  • Valid Driver’s License required.

Nice To Haves

  • Auto prep and refinish experience a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Performs work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy.
  • Communicates with Manager to obtain the needed parts.
  • Examines the vehicle to determine if additional safety or service work is required.
  • Advises Body Shop Manager if additional work is needed.
  • Documents all work performed as the job is completed.
  • Understands and follows federal, state and local regulations such as the disposal of hazardous wastes.
  • Ensures that customer cars are kept clean.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.
