About The Position
The Body Shop Estimator is a key team player responsible for providing estimates, managing day-to-day operations, and ensuring customer satisfaction for the Body Shop. The Body Shop Estimator is responsible for providing 90% of all estimates to customers, opening and closing repair orders, generating purchase orders, and approving expenditures for the department. The Body Shop Estimator duties will extend to managing the day-to-day operations of the body shop, offering customer service, approving outsourcing of services, and coordinating with insurance companies to secure insurance benefits for customers. Additionally, the Estimator will be involved in overseeing the quality of work performed, scheduling and assigning technicians' tasks, monitoring their efficiency and productivity, and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. The ideal candidate will be a team player with exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills, coupled with a proven background in estimating, preferably within the automotive, dealership, or body shop environment. Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent is required
- Proficient computer skills is required
- Prior estimating experience
- Demonstrated excellence in customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to effectively multitask in a fast-paced environment is a must.
- Self-motivated and proactive, with a positive attitude.
- Strong organizational skills are a key requirement.
- Proven ability to set and prioritize goals effectively.

- Previous experience in an automotive, dealership or body shop environment is strongly preferred
Responsibilities
- Provides 90% of all estimates to customers

- Understands, keeps abreast of, and complies with federal, state and local regulations that affect body shop operations
