About The Position

The Turnersville Collision Center, a Penske Automotive Group affiliate, is looking for an experienced Body Technician to join our team and deliver extraordinary customer experiences. As a Body Technician, you will perform repairs and maintenance work in accordance with factory and dealership specifications and time standards for an excellent customer experience. We are a high volume shop with consistent work from 7 insurance Direct Repair Programs and our 8 dealership locations across the Turnersville Auto Mall.

Requirements

2-5 years of collision repair experience
Safe working knowledge of shop tools and equipment
Exceptional customer service skills
Knowledge of automotive systems
Ability to use technical reference materials and technical manuals
Ability to communicate technical terms to non-technical audience
Ability to follow processes to ensure quality and safety
Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information
Ability to listen to customer and determine how to assist them
Maintain positive attitude
Time management skills and ability to prioritize
Excellent communication skills and works well in a team environment
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid Driver's License

Nice To Haves

ASE certification preferred
Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school
I-CAR or ASE Certifications are preferred

Responsibilities

Perform repairs and maintenance work in accordance with factory and dealership specifications and time standards.
Ensure customers have a world-class service experience at every step along their ownership journey, especially in vehicle repairs.
Provide an unparalleled level of technical knowledge and expertise to help repair and maintain vehicles to the highest factory and dealership standards.
Clearly and effectively communicate technical information to a non-technical audience as required.
Comply with all manufacturer standards of quality and timeliness for repairs and maintenance work, and ensure that all estimates and work orders are accurate.
Understand and comply with all federal, state, and local regulations that affect body shop operations, such as handling and disposal of hazardous waste, OSHA, and use of safety and health personal protective equipment.
