About The Position

Smart Body Shop, part of the Gurley Leep Automotive Group, is seeking a full-time Body Technician for their Body Shop Collision Center in Davenport, IA. This role requires knowledge of collision repair, body mechanical, framework, and auto body priming.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of automotive body shop and/or collision repair experience.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Nice To Haves

• Auto Collision Repair (ICAR) or Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certifications are preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• All phases of collision repair (light to heavy), mechanical and framework.
• Identify and determine parts required for repair, review repair orders, work orders, and Body Shop Manager's estimate notes, follow warranty guidelines; notify Supervisor of any repair add-ons.
• Attention to detail – meticulous in work, detail-oriented, and strive to maintain high productivity levels.
• Maintain work area appearance and safety.
