Requirements

Red Seal Auto Body Repair Technician, or Registered third-year Auto Body Apprentice
Valid driver’s licence
Personal hand tools
Strong commitment to quality workmanship

Nice To Haves

Commercial truck or heavy-duty collision repair experience
I-CAR Platinum certification
Experience working within ICBC repair standards

Responsibilities

Perform structural and non-structural collision repairs on commercial trucks and heavy-duty equipment
Repair and replace damaged panels and body components
Complete panel alignment, fitment and adjustments
Perform tear-downs and rebuilds
Prepare surfaces through sanding, grinding, masking and priming
Assist with refinishing work based on experience
Follow OEM repair procedures and quality standards
Inspect completed repairs to ensure quality workmanship
Maintain a clean and organized workspace
Assist fellow technicians when required
Properly maintain tools and equipment
Support safe work practices and shop cleanliness
Work collaboratively to meet production goals
