Requirements

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and repair instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures, or industry
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions.
Must be able to pass medical evaluation

Heating and Air Conditioning Certification for Commercial Truck
State Emission Certification
State Vehicle Inspector Certification
Valid Driver's License
ICAR Certification
ASE Certification (Collision Repair)

Responsibilities

Performs work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards.
Communicates with service advisor immediately if additional work is needed, if work outlined is not needed, or if repairs cannot be completed within the promised time.
Documents all work performed and recommended on the repair order.
Ensures that customers' vehicles are kept clean.
Notifies service advisor immediately of anything that has happened to change the appearance or condition of the vehicle.
Complies with federal, state, and local regulations, such as hazardous waste disposal, OSHA Right-to-Know, etc.
Reports any safety issues immediately to management.
Operates all tools and equipment in a safe manner.
Keeps shop area neat and clean.
Maintains and is accountable for all dealership-owned tools and manuals. Returns them to the proper place and in the same condition as they were received.
Participates in manufacturer-sponsored training programs, schools, and events.
Saves and tags parts of the job if under warranty or if requested by the customer.
Examines assigned vehicle to determine if further safety or body shop work is required or recommended.
Reports machinery defects or malfunctions to supervisor.
Communicates with parts department to obtain needed parts.
Other duties may be assigned.
