Body Shop Technician

About The Position
Destination Nissan is seeking an experienced collision repair technician. Qualified candidates will be responsible for tasks such as repairing dents, grinding, and welding, repairing/replacing damaged/defective parts, and prepping vehicles before returning them to customers. Must have experience with body shop operations, OSHA laws (hazardous waste disposal, etc.), estimations, and parts.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience with auto body work is preferred
- Must be able to operated power-driven tools, hammers, wrenches, & spray guns
- Must adhere to safety guidelines and standards
- New York state inspector’s license is required
- Must have a valid driver's license in good standing
- Experience with body shop operations
- Experience with OSHA laws (hazardous waste disposal, etc.)
- Experience with estimations
- Experience with parts
