About The Position
Martin Automotive Group is hiring a Body Shop Technician for its Dayton Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram location. The role involves determining and repairing damaged parts, documenting repairs and materials, coordinating with the Body Shop Manager and parts department, and maintaining a clean, safe work area while following applicable safety procedures and regulations.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Past experience required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication skills.
- Good organizational skills.
- Clean and valid driver's license.
Nice To Haves
- Completion of a vocational program is preferred, but not required.
Responsibilities
- Determine and repair damaged parts.
- Clearly communicate repair status to the Body Shop Manager.
- Communicate with the parts department to obtain necessary parts.
- Document all repairs performed.
- Document all materials used.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
- Follow company safety procedures.
- Understand and follow federal, state, and local regulations, including requirements for hazardous-waste disposal.
