About The Position

The Body Shop Technician at our Katy Store plays a critical role in restoring vehicles to their pre-accident condition, ensuring both aesthetic appeal and structural integrity. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Proven experience as a Body Shop Technician or in a similar automotive repair role.
Knowledge of vehicle body repair techniques, tools, and materials.
Ability to read and interpret repair manuals, blueprints, and technical instructions.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Proficiency with hand and power tools, welding equipment, and surface preparation techniques is essential for daily tasks.
Effective communication and teamwork skills facilitate coordination with colleagues and contribute to a smooth workflow.
Strong organizational abilities help maintain compliance with safety standards and proper documentation throughout the repair process.

Nice To Haves

Certification from a recognized automotive body repair program (e.g., I-CAR, ASE).
Experience with computerized frame alignment systems and paint mixing technology.
Familiarity with insurance claim processes related to vehicle repairs.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Previous experience working in a high-volume body shop environment.
