This role involves performing high-quality repairs on vehicle body and structural components to restore them to factory specifications, using advanced diagnostic tools and equipment to assess damage, and conducting welding, straightening, sanding, painting, and refinishing work as required. Collaboration with estimators, insurance adjusters, and team members is key to ensuring accurate and timely repairs, while adhering to safety protocols and maintaining a clean, organized work environment is essential. Staying updated on industry techniques, tools, and technologies through training and certifications is also a part of the role, as is upholding Bergstrom’s commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a body shop technician with advanced-level skills in collision repair.
- Proficiency in using specialized tools and equipment, including welding and measuring systems.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently without compromising quality.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a commitment to continuous learning.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Nice To Haves
- Certifications such as I-CAR, ASE, or equivalent are highly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality repairs on vehicle body and structural components to restore them to factory specifications.
