About The Position
Transteck, Inc. is seeking an experienced Body Shop Parts Specialist for their Freightliner of Harrisburg body shop. This role involves providing quotes, sourcing parts, managing inventory, and ensuring customer satisfaction within a large dealership group known for its resources and training. The company emphasizes a balance between large-scale operations and a personal touch across its multiple locations.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED
- One-Two years sales experience preferred
- Must pass background & criminal records check, physical exam and drug screen.
Responsibilities
- Provide written quotes to customers and estimators when needed
- Work with estimators and technicians to procure parts needed for body shop repair orders
- Source parts as needed for speedy fulfillment
- Maintain local parts inventory
- Meet sales and gross profit margin goals
- Order parts according to dealership procedures
- Maintain special order parts for service department
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Ongoing OEM training to stay current with parts changes
- Process core/warranty according to company guidelines
- Perform all other duties as assigned
