About The Position

Transteck, Inc. is seeking an experienced Body Shop Parts Specialist for its Freightliner of Harrisburg body shop. Transteck is one of the largest Freightliner dealer groups in the North East United States with 14 locations and 4 body shops. They have over 200 trained technicians, over $7,000,000 in parts inventory, and utilize state-of-the-art facilities. The company emphasizes having the resources of a large organization while maintaining a personal touch at its 13 locations across Pittsburgh, New Jersey, Maryland, and Northern Virginia.

Requirements

High School diploma or GED
One-Two years sales experience preferred

Responsibilities

Provide written quotes to customers and estimators when needed
Work with estimators and technicians to procure parts needed for body shop repair orders
Source parts as needed for speedy fulfillment
Maintain local parts inventory
Meet sales and gross profit margin goals
Order parts according to dealership procedures
Maintain special order parts for service department
Maintain a clean and safe work area
Ongoing OEM training to stay current with parts changes
Process core/warranty according to company guidelines
Perform all other duties as assigned
