Our Body Shop has an immediate opening for an experienced Auto Body Shop Estimator. We're looking for someone who can work well with customers and Insurance Companies, accurately assess damaged vehicles, and communicate well with our Body Shop Technicians and Painters. Requirements

  • Previous Body Shop Estimator experience is required
  • Basic computer skills
  • Familiarity and use of CCC1 body shop estimating software
  • Organizational skills
  • Problem-solving and communication skills
  • Friendly and professional
  • Must dress in a neat and business-like manner and adhere to the company dress code
  • Highly motivated
  • Ability to adapt to change
  • Candidates for this position must possess a valid Driver’s License and maintain an acceptable driving record in accordance with company policy.
  • Employment offers are contingent upon successful completion of a comprehensive background screening and motor vehicle record review.

Responsibilities

  • Assess the extent of auto body damage through inspections
  • Estimate repairs though CCC estimating system
  • Collect insurance estimates and resolve any differences with technician. customer and the insurance company
  • Establish good customer relations providing timely updates, relevant customer information and handling customer inquiries
  • Obtain relevant signature and authorizations, review vehicle and final inspection for quality check process
  • Excellent communication (phone/written/oral) customer service skills
  • Must be able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Practice and promote teamwork continuously.
  • Perform administrative tasks including those relating to the claims process
  • Completing all parts orders, aftermarket, factory.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
  • Regular attendance is essential.
  • Work in cooperative, positive & professional manner with all personnel in the company.
  • Treat members of the public and customers in a courteous and non-discriminatory manner.
  • Maintain professional demeanor while at work.
  • Must conform to the company policy regarding non-discrimination and harassment.
