About The Position
Empire State Radiology is hiring a Body Radiologist to interpret imaging and provide high-quality patient care in a collaborative practice. The role is open to experienced radiologists and new graduates. Physicians may work remotely, in a hybrid arrangement, or onsite at one of the practice’s New York locations. The position offers subspecialty support, advanced imaging technology, AI-enabled workflow tools, smart worklists, and operational support, including physician liaisons. Scheduling options include weekday coverage with weekend rotations or creative schedules such as seven days on/seven days off or seven days on/14 days off. Remote day or evening shifts are available in Eastern Time. The posting describes predictable shifts and emphasizes work-life balance. The position is partnership eligible and stipend eligible. Empire State Radiology provides coverage across the Hudson Valley and Long Island and supports Garnet Health, Metro Hudson, Long Island, and regional hospitals. Requirements
- MD or DO.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Diagnostic Radiology through the ABR.
- Active New York medical license or ability to obtain one.
Nice To Haves
- Fellowship training in Body Imaging is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Interpret body imaging studies and deliver accurate, timely imaging interpretations.
- Provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a collaborative radiology practice.
- Participate in the selected schedule, which may include weekday coverage and weekend rotations.
