About The Position

The Department of Radiology & Radiological Science at the Medical University of South Carolina is seeking a board certified/board eligible, fellowship-trained Body Imaging Radiologist to join them as an Assistant or Associate Professor in a dynamic clinician-educator role with a tenure track. The ideal candidate will have a desire to participate in the academic activities of the division and will lead didactic teaching sessions for residents and medical students as needed.

Requirements

• MD or equivalent degree.
• Completion of Abdominal Radiology fellowship training.
• Board certified (or eligible) by the American Board of Radiology.
• Eligibility for medical licensure in the state of South Carolina.

Responsibilities

• Participate in academic activities of the division.
• Lead didactic teaching sessions for residents and medical students as needed.
• Perform clinical practice on MUSC’s main campus in downtown Charleston, SC.
• Handle 4-6 weekend shifts per year.
• Be well versed in all aspects of Abdominal Imaging, including: radiography, fluoroscopy, CT, MRI, US.
