Customers include not only the world’s major vehicle providers and other original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), but also clients from the international motor sports community. We are hiring Body and Chassis Test Technician to work in Dearborn, MI. This is a position for those with some knowledge and experience in automotive, either on the job or as a hobby. Requirements

High School Diploma required
Must have good electrical and mechanical knowledge
Good interpersonal, computer, oral and written skills

Nice To Haves

Associates in Automotive Technology or a combination of 2 years’ experience and college
Previous experience in a testing environment desirable, including: hydraulic experience (closed loop systems a plus), hydraulic / pneumatic system controller experience, automotive systems / sub-system familiarization, MTS controller familiarization
Welding experience (Mig, Tig, Arc) and Machine shop / fabrication experience preferred

Responsibilities

Mechanical preparation and instrumentation
Test execution
Data collection
Posttest removal of test equipment and various automotive components
Work with test lab instrumentation including application and installation of transducers, accelerometers, load cells, potentiometers and other various types of electrical equipment
Work with vehicle suspension components and sub systems
