The Boat & ATV Sales Consultant performs various Selling / Customer Service activities to assist Boat and ATV Customers in making informed buying decisions. This role supports a strong commitment to world-class customer service and ensures a pleasant and productive shopping experience for all customers. The consultant engages all customers entering the department in a friendly and timely manner, and meets with potential customers to determine their boating and/or ATV needs, providing information necessary to allow the customer to make an informed buying decision. The role requires maintaining current product knowledge by using available resources, staying aware of advertised items, current pricing structures, and promotions, and adhering to all selling skills training. The consultant works cooperatively with the Service Department to ensure seamless delivery to the customer and maintains complete confidentiality of all sensitive and personal information. Daily tasks include preparing the showroom, maintaining product integrity and cleanliness, and generating/managing leads and prospects in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool. Participation in special events like Boat Shows and Parking Lot events is also expected. Accurate completion of all necessary paperwork and meeting/exceeding pre-determined individual monthly sales goals are required. The consultant must maintain a clean and professional work area and follow all Company Policies and Procedures.
