The Boat & ATV Sales Consultant performs various Selling / Customer Service activities to assist Boat and ATV Customers in making informed buying decisions. This role supports a strong commitment to world-class customer service and ensures a pleasant and productive shopping experience for all customers. The consultant engages customers entering the department, meets with potential customers to determine their boating and/or ATV needs, and provides information to facilitate informed buying decisions. Maintaining current product knowledge through available resources, staying aware of advertised items, pricing, and promotions, and adhering to selling skills training are key aspects of the position. Collaboration with the Service Department for seamless delivery and maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information are also essential. The role involves preparing the showroom daily, ensuring product integrity and cleanliness throughout the day, and generating/managing leads and prospects in the CRM tool, including customer follow-up before and after the sale. Participation in special events like Boat Shows and Parking Lot events, accurate completion of sales paperwork, and meeting monthly sales goals are required. The consultant must maintain a clean and professional work area and adhere to all Company Policies and Procedures.
