The Board Sales Support Specialist is responsible for supporting the Outside Sales team by providing timely, accurate, and reliable assistance related to wood panel products. This role serves as an internal resource for Territory Managers, Customer Service Representatives, Inventory Specialists, Sales Operations, and Purchasing to help answer product questions, prepare quotes, coordinate special orders, and keep customer-related activity moving quickly. The position is expected to respond with urgency, help remove obstacles for the field sales team, and ensure that information is communicated clearly to the appropriate departments. Where appropriate, the Board Sales Support Specialist will assist with vendor ordering, follow up on vendor lead times, confirm product availability, and help coordinate purchasing activity tied to customer and sales team needs. This role may also provide input on product mix, pricing, inventory levels, demand trends, and market feedback gathered through internal sales activity. The Board Sales Support Specialist will uphold company standards related to accuracy, service, pricing, and profitability.
