Working closely with and reporting to the Chief Philanthropy Officer (CPO), the Board Relations Manager (BRM) provides both the CPO and the Board of Directors with high-level administrative and executive support. The BRM will also partner with the CPO to define and execute strategies for more effectively managing the activities of the Board of Directors in the immediate- and long-term. For the CPO, the Board Relations Manager will assist with a variety of activities and projects that support the CPO’s leadership of the Philanthropy Department. These include but are not limited to: scheduling and calendar management; expense reporting; documentation of the CPO’s fundraising activities; agendas for departmental meetings; and communications on behalf of the CPO. For the Board of Directors, the BRM will serve as one of their principal points of contact, assisting with ticketing and parking needs and any other requests that support their involvement as Board members. The BRM will also work closely with the CPO, CEO, and Executive Team members on the planning and execution of full Board meetings, Board retreats, and committee meetings.
