About The Position
Audacy Boston is looking for talented individuals to join our part-time staff as a Board Operator. The anticipated starting salary range for Boston-based individuals expressing interest in this position is $15.00/Hr.. Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities and location of the applicant, as well as internal and external equity.
Requirements
- Previous experience running a studio board
- Editing play-by-play highlights and interviews using a digital editing program such as Adobe Audition, NewsBoss, or Pro Tools is required.
- Previous experience as a radio board operator, preferably at a sports talk radio station/network.
- Experience with digital operating system (Media Touch, Audio Vault, Enco or Profit).
- Must be a team player
- Computer savvy
- Flexibility to work different shifts, including weekends, overnights and holidays.
Nice To Haves
- Previous radio experience running a soundboard
- Booking guests
- Writing and editing audio
Responsibilities
- Running the control board, following station format, arranging and playing commercials and IDs according to the program and commercial logs, following applicable laws and FCC regulations
- Administering contests
- Answering listener phone calls
- Screening listener calls for live shows
- Operating satellite receivers
- Conducting EAS tests
- On-air execution of the station
- Other duties as required by management
