About The Position

Wipro Limited is a technology services and consulting company focused on delivering solutions for clients’ digital transformation needs. The Board Level Test Engineer performs first-level hardware triage and troubleshooting for server platforms, develops diagnostic tools and test automation, and supports hardware validation and fault isolation. The role works with motherboards and GPU platforms in lab environments, uses Windows and Linux for test and debug tasks, and collaborates with cross-functional teams on diagnostics, validation, and product transitions during the NPI cycle.

Requirements

Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
Strong scripting skills in Python and Shell.
Familiarity with Windows and Linux operating system environments.
Working knowledge of hardware protocols including Ethernet, InfiniBand, PCIe, USB, HDMI, I2C, and SPI.
Experience with CPUs and GPUs.
Proficiency in using test equipment for diagnostics and validation.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Mandatory skill: VLSI board design.
5–8 years of experience.

Responsibilities

Perform first-level hardware triage and troubleshooting for server platforms.
Design and implement diagnostic tools and scripts for early hardware validation and fault isolation.
Identify and resolve setup issues and test failures using structured troubleshooting methodologies.
Develop and maintain test automation using Shell and Python scripting.
Work with motherboards and GPU platforms in lab environments.
Work with systems connected by Ethernet, NVLink, and InfiniBand networking protocols.
Use Windows and Linux operating systems for test and debug tasks.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support diagnostics, validation, and smooth product transitions in the NPI cycle.
