About The Position

Dane Street is expanding its physician panel and seeking Washington-licensed physician advisors to support L&I Independent Medical Exams. This is an opportunity for non-traditional physician work and supplemental income, involving in-person IMEs across multiple clinic locations. No-shows, late cancellations, and other ancillary fees are established to protect your time. Physician reviewers are independent contract reviewers (1099) compensated on a per-case basis.

Requirements

• Board Certified in Urology.
• Active practice.
• Washington medical license.
• Must be in active practice and board-certified in Urology.

Responsibilities

• Review medical records.
• Perform a physical exam of the patient.
• Address clinical questions regarding the patient's diagnosis and care.
• Accept cases on a contract basis as individual schedule permits.
• Review all medical records.
• Conduct physical exams.
• Complete a report addressing each question and clinical concern utilizing AMA Guides to the Evaluation of Permanent Impairment, Sixth Edition.
• Provide a report promptly, post exam.
• Return cases on or before the due date and time specified.
• Complete peer-to-peer calls/call attempts as required based on client-specific protocol.
• Perform other duties as assigned, including addressing any necessary clarification, providing addenda as required (with additional compensation), identifying and responding to potential quality assurance issues, complaints, and regulatory issues.
