About The Position

Dane Street is seeking Board Certified General Surgeons with an active Colorado Medical License to join their physician panel. This is a telework, independent contractor (1099) opportunity providing supplemental income. Physicians will review medical necessity of treatment requests and previously denied services. The role is advisory-only, with no doctor-patient relationship established. Dane Street handles all administrative tasks, case preparation, and communication, allowing physicians to focus on clinical decision-making. Training and onboarding are provided and can be completed in less than a week.

Requirements

• Current, unrestricted Colorado Medical License
• Active Practice
• Board Certified in General Surgery

Responsibilities

• Address the medical necessity of treatment requests.
• Address the medical necessity of previously denied services in appeals.
• Provide advisory-only opinions.
