About The Position

Dane Street is expanding its physician panel and has a need to add Washington-licensed physician advisors to support L&I Independent Medical Exams. This opportunity involves conducting in-person IMEs across multiple clinic locations. No-shows, late cancellations, and other ancillary fees are established to protect your time. Our physician panel is comprised of independent contract reviewers (1099) compensated on a per-case basis. A Washington medical license is required, along with active practice and board certification in Otolaryngology.

Responsibilities

• Reviews medical records.
• Performs a physical exam of the patient.
• Addresses clinical questions regarding the patient's diagnosis and care.
• Completes a report addressing each question and clinical concern utilizing AMA Guides to the Evaluation of Permanent Impairment, Sixth Edition.
• Provides a report promptly, post exam.
• Returns cases on or before the due date and time specified.
• Completes peer-to-peer calls/call attempts as required based on client-specific protocol.
• Performs other duties as assigned, including addressing any necessary clarification, providing addenda as required (with additional compensation), identifying and responding to potential quality assurance issues, complaints, and regulatory issues.
