About The Position

RieLes Group is seeking 2 Board-Certified Interventional Radiologists to provide on-site Interventional Radiology services to VA beneficiaries at the Minneapolis VA Health Care System. The role involves providing consultations, diagnostic imaging, therapeutic procedures, patient management, follow-up care, and resident supervision in accordance with VA standards and American College of Radiology guidelines. RieLes Group focuses on creating meaningful opportunities for social and economic empowerment.

Requirements

  • Board Certification: American Board of Radiology (ABR), with Interventional Radiology certification
  • Medical License: Current, full, and unrestricted U.S. medical license
  • Minimum 3–5 years of Interventional Radiology experience
  • Experience performing a broad range of IR procedures
  • Proficiency with CT, ultrasound, fluoroscopy, and interventional equipment
  • ACLS certification required
  • Current CME requirements must be maintained
  • Must successfully complete VA credentialing and privileging
  • Must possess or obtain an appropriate NPI
  • Current DEA certificate required
  • Fluency in English is required
  • Selected physicians must meet applicable VA training and occupational health requirements, including VA-required training, ACLS, HIPAA/privacy training, moderate sedation training, fluoroscopy safety training, and other mandatory courses as applicable
  • The physician must also complete the Minneapolis VA credentialing and privileging process before providing services

Responsibilities

  • Provide Interventional Radiology consultations and procedures
  • Perform diagnostic imaging and therapeutic interventions
  • Provide patient management, post-procedure evaluation, and follow-up care
  • Interpret applicable vascular ultrasound examinations, CT angiography (CTA), and MR angiography (MRA)
  • Review consults, orders, and next-day cases for at least two hours daily
  • Provide clinical consultation regarding complications
  • Maintain accurate and timely medical records
  • Supervise and teach residents and fellows
  • Participate in clinical conferences, quality assurance activities, and VA staff meetings
