We are seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Psychiatrist to support the Veteran community in the Hampton, VA area. Requirements

• Authorization to work in the U.S. permanently, without sponsorship.
• Board Certified /Board Eligible by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
• Current, full, and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States, or in the District of Columbia.
• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience with the VA is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operating and collaborating with patients
• Seeing Ward Patients
• Admitting Diagnosis of patients
• Developing Treatment Plans
• Managing, including the performance of timely treatment
• Discharge/Transfer Including all needed medical record documentation
• Seeing all new patient referrals with accompanying medical records
• Seeing severely mentally ill patients
• Evaluation disposition
• E-consult
• Post-discharge follow-up Patients must be seen by provider in 30 days
• History and Physical (H&P) as required and any other documentation
