About The Position

The Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) will promote ethical and effective behavior interventions and the student's participation in everyday routines and activities that are a part of his or her program.

Requirements

• A master's degree in behavior analysis, psychology or a closely related field.
• Certification by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board as a BCBA.

Responsibilities

• Follow local, state, and federal law and adhere to Public Education Department and Local School Board Policy.
• Maintain confidentiality of student information.
• Perform appropriate evaluations of children referred for challenging behaviors.
• Assist in the development of Individualized Education Programs to meet individual student's needs.
• Provide individual and/or group therapy to students.
• Serve as a resource to school staff members in the area of Applied Behavior Analysis and behavioral supports.
• Follow all Technical Evaluation and Assessment Manual (TEAM) guidelines.
• Perform other relevant tasks as assigned.
