About The Position

TheraPeds Partners is a Colorado-based, therapist-owned and operated organization that partners with local schools to provide Board Certified Behavioral Analyst (BCBA) services to PreK–12 students nationwide. As a team of special education providers, we understand the education process, IDEA requirements, and the importance of collaboration within multidisciplinary teams. Our mission is to deliver high-quality Board Certified Behavioral Analyst (BCBA) services while making meaningful connections in a collaborative learning environment. This is a full-time, on-site role as a Board Certified Behavioral Analyst (BCBA) serving a school located in Redwood City, CA. The Board Certified Behavioral Analyst (BCBA) will be responsible for providing therapy services to students, conducting assessments, developing IEP plans, evaluating progress, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams (therapists, educators, parents). The role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a passion for working with students with special needs.

Requirements

  • Active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)
  • Master's degree in Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, Special Education, or related field
  • Experience conducting Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and developing Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
  • Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and evidence-based behavioral interventions
  • Licensing with the State Department of Education, where required
  • Experience working with children
  • Organizational and time management skills
  • Proficient in use of technology
  • Fingerprint background clearance
  • Ability to collaborate with school staff and parents with a demonstrated ability to exercise a high level of tact and discretion in both internal and external communications

  • Experience in a school setting preferred, but not required

Responsibilities

  • Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs)
  • Develop, implement, and monitor Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
  • Analyze behavioral data and make data-driven recommendations
  • Provide consultation to teachers, administrators, and related service providers
  • Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team meetings as needed
  • Collaborate with families to support consistency across school and home environments
  • Monitor student progress and adjust interventions based on outcomes
