About The Position

The William Penn School District, in partnership with the Devereux Center for Effective Schools, is seeking a dedicated Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to support elementary and secondary Emotional Support (ES) programs. This 10-month position focuses on providing high-quality behavioral consultation, assessment, training, and program development grounded in applied behavior analysis (ABA) to improve outcomes for students with emotional and behavioral disorders. The Devereux Center for School-Based Mental Health Services provides comprehensive, school-based mental health services to support the emotional and behavioral health and well-being of students. Our services include individual and group counseling, behavioral consultations and classroom support, as well as evidence-based screenings and short-term interventions.

Requirements

  • Masters Degree in Psychology, Counseling, Applied Behavior Analysis, Social Work or related field required.
  • The ideal candidate will have their BCBA certification
  • Must have relevant behavioral experience.
  • Applicants enrolled in a BCBA program and close to obtaining licensure are welcome to apply!

Responsibilities

  • Provide classroom consultation on behavior supports and classroom management
  • Conduct FBAs and develop positive behavior support plans
  • Deliver staff and family training
  • Support program development and data-based decision making
  • Coach staff and ensure fidelity of behavior plans
  • Provide supervision to ABA trainees (as eligible)
