About The Position
Belmont Behavioral Health System, a trusted provider of superior service for over 75 years, is moving into a brand-new building and is seeking to hire a BCBA Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). This role will provide quality ABA services to patients on the Specialty Pediatric Unit, including the development and implementation of Behavior Plans, and will assist staff in implementing and maintaining fidelity to these plans. The position offers daytime hours with a salary range of $30-$40 per hour, depending on experience.
Requirements
- Experience with the development and implementation of Behavior Intervention Plans
- Must have excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
- Experience with working with adolescent population
- Must be skilled and competent to provide services to the patient.
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) by BACB
- CPR and de-escalation/restraint certification required (training available upon hire and offered by facility).
- First aid may be required based on state or facility.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the implementation of ABA programming on the Specialized Pediatric Unit with particular focus on children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
- Provides supervision to the Registered Behavior Technicians and Behavioral Health Associates
- Trains new staff on ABA techniques
- Keeps abreast of advances in treatment and sets appropriate goals for self-improvement
- Facilitates daily team meetings
- Attends staff meetings as required and completes all yearly mandatory in-services
- Provides direct services to the patients on the Specialized Pediatric Unit
- Conducts the appropriate assessments including ADOS and other specific assessments in a timely manner
- Participates in performance improvement activities
- Follows all hospital policies and procedures
- Must maintain license or certification in good standing
- Flexible schedule. Possible weekends or evenings when appropriate
- Employee will be required to perform other job-related duties as assigned by their supervisor
- Perform other functions and tasks as assigned.
