About The Position

Make a difference where it matters most. We're seeking a BCBA for our school-based treatment program to work in diverse educational environments across St. Tammany Parish. In this role, you'll help students overcome behavioral challenges and thrive in both academic and social settings. Salary - starting at $85,000.00 depending on experience and desired caseload. $5,000 signing Bonus, paid at contract signing Up to $10, 000 in relocation assistance

Requirements

  • Must hold a minimum of a master's degree in a discipline approved by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
  • Must be a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in good standing, with no pending litigation or disciplinary actions.
  • Must maintain all the requirements necessary to remain active and in good standing with the BACB.
  • Must pass a criminal background and record check
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and compassionately with families and multidisciplinary teams
  • Demonstrated ability to guide, support, and hold team members accountable for performance and compliance standards
  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills are essential for this role, including overseeing RLTs, ensuring high-quality service delivery, supporting staff development, and maintaining adherence to company policies and procedures
  • Must carry professional liability insurance with a minimum limit of coverage of $1,000,000/$3,000,000
  • Pass a background check

  • Prior experience working in school-based settings is strongly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) to determine the underlying causes of students' challenging behaviors.
  • Design and implement Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) that are aligned with students' Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and evidence-based practices.
  • Provide direct behavior analytic services to students in both one-on-one and group settings, targeting skill acquisition and behavior reduction.
  • Supervise RBTs and RLTs and provide coaching and feedback.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary school staff to integrate behavior strategies into the classroom and broader school environment.
  • Participate in IEP team meetings, contributing to the development, review, and ongoing monitoring of behavioral goals and student progress.
  • Deliver training and coaching educators, paraprofessionals, and support staff on the implementation of behavior management strategies and interventions.
