This role focuses on providing clinic-based services as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). The company emphasizes a strong clinical quality and training program, led by their VP of Clinical Quality and Training, Liza Bodner, who developed the Gracent Care Calculator, a peer-reviewed clinical tool. This tool recommends treatment intensity based on the child's needs, not a default setting. The company is a BACB ACE Provider and offers free in-house Continuing Education Units (CEUs). BCBAs will have opportunities for co-treatment with Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs), Occupational Therapists (OTs), Physical Therapists (PTs), and mental health providers on the same cases. There is a defined career advancement path within the organization, with many leaders having started as BCBAs. The position involves measuring and making progress visible through tools like the STEP Score and family Report Cards. Services are provided in an interdisciplinary model where various therapists work on the same cases. The role also supports children transitioning to traditional classrooms through a half-day Prep School program. Caseloads are managed with 6-8 clients per BCBA, and 16-20% of the week is dedicated to supervision time, built into the schedule. Administrative tasks like scheduling, billing, and authorizations are handled by dedicated teams. The schedule is flexible, with midday appointments not costing Paid Time Off (PTO).
