About The Position

We are seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or Autism Consultant for a position in Medford, OR. This interchangeable role involves working closely with educational teams to provide behavioral support and guidance in an educational setting. The focus will be on designing and implementing interventions, conducting functional behavior assessments, and providing support and coaching to staff. This position requires experience in school settings, particularly working with early childhood and autism evaluation. The role will involve hands-on coaching, training, and supporting teachers in creating a safe and effective learning environment for students with challenging behaviors.

Requirements

  • Current Certification as a BCBA in good standing with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
  • Master’s degree in education, psychology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in behavioral analysis and intervention, including experience supporting students in educational settings.
  • Experience with at-risk student populations and K-12 public education settings.
  • Proficiency in oral and written communication in English.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines efficiently.
  • Experience working with culturally, linguistically, and racially diverse student populations.
  • Physical capability to respond to students and maintain a safe school environment.
  • Valid Oregon Driver's License (required).
  • Ability to use computers and Internet-based applications for communication, student information, and data systems.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and collaborate with educational teams to develop interventions, conduct functional behavior assessments, and design behavior support plans to support students’ needs.
  • Conduct descriptive and systematic behavioral assessments, including functional analyses, and interpret the results to inform interventions.
  • Provide clinical supervision for Registered Behavioral Technicians (RBTs), Registered Behavior Analysis Interventionists (RBAIs), and BCBA candidates.
  • Design and supervise behavior analytic interventions, monitor progress, analyze data, and ensure proper implementation.
  • Develop training materials and conduct workshops and training sessions for staff on topics such as positive behavioral supports, behavioral data collection, and support planning.
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other school personnel to create and implement IEP goals and objectives.
  • Use evidence-based practices for students with disabilities (e.g., PECS, assistive technology, visual supports, video modeling, etc.).
  • Ensure adherence to the Professional and Ethical Compliance Code for Behavior Analysts.
  • Maintain student records, ensuring confidentiality, and meet district, state, and federal timelines and legal requirements.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and maintain certification.
  • Adhere to district policies and procedures.
