About The Position

Join IABA as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and help lead our Adult Supported Living Services team in Orange County! For over 40 years, the Institute for Applied Behavior Analysis (IABA) has been dedicated to improving the quality of life for individuals with developmental disabilities. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced BCBA – Adult Services to oversee behavioral services, supervise staff, and ensure the highest standard of person-centered care.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree (M.A.) in Social Work, Psychology, Special Education, or a related field.
  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification or progress toward certification.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in human services, including 2 years in management or supervision.
  • Strong background in non-aversive behavior modification and Functional Assessments.
  • Experience providing community-based, individualized training for adults with developmental disabilities.
  • Valid California Driver’s License, DMV report, and proof of insurance.
  • Ability to pass DOJ and FBI background checks.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 20 lbs and assist individuals with mobility (e.g., transfers, walking support).

Responsibilities

  • Develop, supervise, and evaluate behavior intervention programs using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles.
  • Conduct comprehensive functional assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Oversee data collection, analysis, and reporting to track client progress.
  • Ensure all clinical documentation complies with HIPAA and IABA standards.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, families, and community partners to coordinate care.
  • Provide supervision and training to Behavior Respite Companions and Day Program (Employment/Job Coaches) and support staff.
  • Manage clinical operations, including scheduling, budgeting, and quality assurance.
  • Participate in Regional Center meetings and maintain strong community relationships.
  • Prepare and manage contracts, billing reports, and budget projections.
  • Lead monthly group supervision meetings with consultants.
