About The Position

Easterseals Florida is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) to join our ELITE Program team. In this role, you will work under the supervision of our Center Director while carrying a balanced caseload and collaborating closely with fellow analysts at affiliated sites and pediatric service specialists. Because our services also include academic tutoring and wrap care, general pre-kindergarten and child care knowledge is a strong plus.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Special Education, Psychology, or a related field
  • Current certification as a Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) issued by the BACB
  • Minimum of 1 year of BCaBA experience preferred
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate with multi-disciplinary team members and a passion for working with young children
  • Strong problem-solving and independent decision-making skills, including during emergency situations
  • Ability to build effective relationships with children, families, and natural supports
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations
  • Ability to secure and retain a Medicaid Provider Number
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365
  • Desire for ongoing professional development and openness to coaching
  • Willingness to obtain and maintain required DCF childcare trainings

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with VB-MAPP, early intervention programming, and school-based services (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Conduct functional behavior assessments
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized behavior support plans and focused treatment plans
  • Coordinate client goals and schedules with Wrap Coaches and Intake Specialists
  • Perform skill assessments (ABLLS, AFLS, VB-MAPP)
  • Maintain a minimum caseload of 25 billable hours per week
  • Provide direct one-on-one instruction using ABA principles
  • Prepare timely progress reports and treatment plan updates per funding requirements
  • Assist teachers and RBTs with graphing and analyzing data
  • Conduct training for support staff, parents, and teachers
  • Supervise and support Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and other direct support staff
