About The Position

Miller's Health Systems is offering a free training program for individuals interested in becoming a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). This program includes classroom instruction and clinical practicum, preparing students to pass the state exam. Upon successful completion and hiring, Miller's will cover the cost of the state exam. Requirements

Pass a criminal background check.
Pass a TB test.
Pass a physical examination.
Attendance to all classroom sessions is mandatory.
Achieve a minimum score of 80% on all classroom tests.
Successfully perform all required skills during clinical practicum.
Have daily clinical sign-in records completed and signed by a licensed supervisor.

Nice To Haves

Students may be assigned to work with a preceptor for assistance with organization and time management during the practicum.

Responsibilities

Complete 36-40 hours of classroom training.
Pass all classroom tests with a score of 80% or higher (3 attempts allowed).
Complete 75 hours of supervised clinical practicum in a long-term care facility.
Successfully perform all required skills during the practicum.
Attend all mandatory classroom sessions.
Maintain satisfactory attendance and performance throughout the program.
Complete and submit all required documentation, including skills checklists and a daily clinical sign-in record.
