About The Position

The BMT/Leukemia Resource Coordinator assists with the development, management, and coordination of patient care activities within the Bone Marrow Transplant and Leukemia Programs. The coordinator collaborates with physicians and members of the interdisciplinary team to coordinate and manage consistent patient care, serving as an educator, resource person, researcher, and indirect patient care provider. The role works with adolescent, geriatric, and adult patients.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• Two years of experience in health care or health care clinic operations.
• Demonstrated analytical skills, including the ability to understand, analyze, and interpret statistical, clinical, and business information.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency using database, spreadsheet, and word-processing software.
• Knowledge of health care and insurance-related regulations and procedures.
