About The Position

The BMS Associate, described in the posting as a BMS Operations and Maintenance Analyst, oversees the operation and maintenance of Building Management Systems (BMS) that control building systems such as HVAC, lighting, electrical systems, and energy management. The role involves continuous monitoring, troubleshooting, and supporting efficient operation within established parameters, using Johnson Controls platforms and tools. The position responds to alarms and faults, investigates root causes, takes corrective or escalation actions, maintains alarm records, and analyzes system data to identify performance trends, inefficiencies, and energy-saving opportunities. It also generates reports for internal review and customer reporting, supports emergency response and preparedness, and collaborates with operations, analytics, engineering, facilities, technicians, and contractors. The role requires compliance with safety, environmental, regulatory, and customer-specific protocols. Work takes place in a control room, with occasional on-site physical inspections. The stated schedule availability requirement is Tuesday through Friday, 2 p.m. to 12 a.m.
