About The Position

Blueshift develops cutting‑edge thermal protection and low‑dielectric material solutions that enable the next generation of aerospace, defense, and electronics systems. Our products support customers operating in some of the world’s most demanding thermal, mechanical, and RF environments, where performance, reliability, and quality are critical to mission success. This role plays a key part in supporting the transition and execution of advanced materials from development through scalable manufacturing, operating within a regulated, aerospace‑grade environment. Working cross‑functionally across Operations, Engineering, Quality, and Product Development, this position contributes to establishing robust processes, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring that Blueshift technologies meet both internal standards and customer requirements under ISO 9001 and AS9100D frameworks. The Quality Engineer supports Blueshift’s Quality function by applying engineering, analytical, and problem‑solving skills to ensure product and process quality across manufacturing, scale‑up, and new product introduction. This role operates within the established Quality Management System, supporting compliance and execution of quality requirements without direct ownership of the system itself. Working closely with Manufacturing, Engineering, Applications, and R&D teams, the Quality Engineer provides quality engineering support across raw material qualification, AeroZero film production, finishing operations, and downstream manufacturing processes. This role emphasizes data‑driven investigations, statistical analysis, risk assessment, and corrective action to ensure products meet defined quality standards and customer expectations. Through active involvement in audits, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives, the Quality Engineer helps maintain Blueshift’s reputation for performance and reliability in highly regulated markets.
