About The Position

This position is responsible for successfully processing and consigning blood and blood components. The role involves irradiating and labeling blood and blood components, assisting with daily inventory rotations, preparing and distributing blood and blood components for shipment, delivering products to customers, performing visual inspections of shipments and returned products, and performing component manufacturing duties when needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license
• Must present driving record with zero points and no moving or traffic violations in the past 3 years
• Must be 21 years of age
• Good communication skills and professional demeanor
• Problem-solving ability
• Ability to work well with people
• Lifting and carrying 50 lbs
• Pushing 50-100 lbs

Nice To Haves

• Computer skills preferred

Responsibilities

• Irradiate and label blood and blood components
• Assist with daily inventory rotations
• Prepare and distribute blood and blood components for shipment as appropriate
• Deliver products to customers as needed
• Perform visual inspections of all shipments and returned products
• Perform some component manufacturing duties when needed
